Hi Everyone, We will be doing split practices for g3 going forward. Drummers will be on Mondays. Michael and Alex to sort out details on time (I believe you have already decided on that etc) Pipers : We will be on Weds from 7-8:30 PM. I will personally be on 6:30-8:30 for those wanting a bit more 1 on 1 or small group times. (Perhaps we can schedule 1 person to take that slot each week and we can use it for solos / specific spots in band music). Drummers are welcome to sit in on the pipe practice to get the tunes in your head / silently play along. I'm sure the invite likewise goes to the pipers on the monday practices. One of the most important things you can do is be able to understand how the drum score goes with the pipe tune and vice versa. It is a great opportunity! As for the 6/8 set. They are now included in the G3 file in box. Alex T and Connor please Learn the Seconds. Dave Kelly please Learn the 3rds. If anyone else is interested in playing / learning harmonies for the comp tunes, 6/8s, gran's tune, or banks of the lossie please let me know! Practice was fun last week. I'm expecting a lot more folks next week! Also a reminder that Alex B and I are free often for 1 on 1 Skype sessions for solos or band tunes. Please don't hesitate to ask and schedule those.
