P/M Neil is off working in Tahoe for a week so he won't be at the park
on Sunday.
Keep practicing, nonetheless, and of course on Tuesday and Thursday my
house is still open for evening practice from 6 to 7:30. And, regarding
that, once we're up on the big pipes we can't hear the doorbell. So if
you're a bit late, just let yourself in and come through to to the back
yard. The very fierce guard dogs may require some pets and love on your
way past, but that's all.
Also, a couple of the neighbors have sent us email saying they
appreciate the sound of practice -- evidently, we sound good enough that
they like us. Last Tuesday, someone even lifted their kid up to see over
the fence while we were playing. So really, this practice is doing us
whole bunches of good and it's a welcoming environment. If you've been
hesitant before now, we absolutely encourage you to come over.
