AGM, elections

First: we couldn't get Edith Morley on the day, so the venue has
changed. The new venue is:

Tamien Picnic Site at Almaden Lake Park, south Almaden Blvd at Coleman,
San Jose (off 85); all day, beer and wine allowed. The location has been
updated on TeamSnap.

It's outdoors, so that's great, and it's mid-day so we won't lose sleep
or be worried about getting our kids to bed. Heck, bring the kids.
Historically, our annual band meetings have been potluck affairs. This
time around, it's going to be bring your own -- BYOBBQ, if you will.

Second, elections: our bylaws are what they are, and that means every
board position is up for election. We will, as we have done for the past
couple of years, run the election online. However, we want to take
nominations at the AGM. That way we can get the ballot written up and
have this all done in a couple of weeks.

Hi all

Nice that we're having the meeting in my neighborhood (well -- nice for ME anyways!). As such, let me give you a little help finding the place, for those unfamiliar with the area. From Hwy 85, take Almaden Expressway south about a mile; continue past Coleman Rd. and you'll see the park on your left. Make a U-turn at the next light (McAbee Rd./Winfield Bl.) and come back around to the west entrance and park in the parking lot. The Tamien Picnic site is nearby. See the park map, below. See you there.
