Hey, y'all. So here we are, it's March and everything, and we've got
various kinds of performances on the horizon. We've had our first
all-band practice, in which we learned how to march and wheel and
countermarch while looking like we know what we're doing, and that,
right there, is great!

Bob Perry has dived into the job of Quartermaster and gotten keys to the
sheds. He's got inventory, he's got access, and he's got the total
support of the board. Thank you, Bob! Now, for the rest of us, we need
to remember that this is an unpaid position and it's a lot of work, so
it's good to be mindful of the imposition involved in doing the job. If
we need anything out of storage, let's give him a heads-up at least a
week in advance, so he can work a trip to the appropriate location into
his schedule and then get whatever it is to the next practice.

One of our non-paying "community outreach" gigs just canceled (Mission
High School cultural awareness day), so I just removed it from TeamSnap.
While I was there, I scrolled through the availability for the upcoming
events and saw that of the SIXTY-ONE members on our roster, TWENTY-THREE
have recorded their availability for some of the upcoming gigs. That
means that there are THIRTY-EIGHT folks who have not gone through the
process of going to https://teamsnap.com, clicking the "Log in" link,
and then going to the "Availability" tab and ticking the checkbox for
going/not going/maybe. Take ten minutes and update your availability,
please.

Wash your hands. Don't touch your face. Update TeamSnap.
