Hi, band members

I've taken on the task of updating the band roster -- that hasn't been done in a while and there have been many changes.  I plan to include each member's name, phone number, email address, street (or mailing) address, instrument (P -- piper, S -- snare drummer, T -- tenor drummer, B -- bass drummer, or DM -- Drum Major), and which grade or band they belong to (3, 4, or PRD -- parade only).  That will be for all active members.  In the past, we sometimes added a separate list of inactive members -- those who had been in the band recently but are not currently participating.  I can do that also if a lot of people would like that and request it.

The way I'd like to organize the roster -- unless people suggest something better -- is to group the members by band, and within that the pipers first, then the drummers, with names in alphabetical order by first names.  In other words, first on the roster would be all G3 members, first the pipers followed by the drummers, then all the G4 members, pipers then drummers, then parade band, etc.  I will also indicate officer or leadership positions next to the names of those members, respectively.

Please feel free to make any other suggestions.

So that I can put together the most accurate and up-to-date roster, PLEASE EMAIL ME DIRECTLY at notcar24@hotmail.com with your current information as indicated above -- your first and last name, leadership position if applicable, phone number (indicate c if it's a cell phone), email address, street or mailing address, instrument, and which band you're in.

DO NOT REPLY TO ALL; reply only to me, at notcar24@hotmail.com, please.

Most likely, I won't get everyone with this first pass, and may have to track down a few people in other ways, and maybe make additional requests, but let's start with this.  Get back to me as soon as you can -- thanks!

Hi again

I got a good suggestion from Tam Hartl for one more thing to include on the roster:  your birthday (just month and day).  Tam is working on starting up a monthly newsletter, in which we can list band members' birthdays each month.  So please send me those too, if you would.

Once again, these items:  first and last name (and leadership position if applicable), phone number, email address, street address, instrument, which band you belong to, and birthday.

Thanks again!
