Neil, Paul, and I had a good practice yesterday. We invite y'all to come
over and have another good practice tomorrow, Thursday, from 6 p.m. to
7:30 p.m. at:

13810 Ravenwood Drive, Saratoga

Please note that there are a couple of minor updates to the music, as well.

In "Maids of Jura" on the third line, second measure, the e-d-b sequence
had been written as a triplet of quarter notes. This made for a
neat-sounding rhythmic change in the tune, but it has been hard for
people to play properly and in unison. Therefore, the rhythm has been
changed to match the rest of the tune.

In "Under the Triboro", the second and fourth parts had in their third
measure a sequence d throw - e - doubling on d. This has been difficult
for people to play cleanly at tempo. Therefore, the transition from e to
d has been simplified to a single g grace note.

These changes are up on Box.

I will be over at the coast tomorrow piping with Jay Salter & co so I won’t make it to Campbell. Tuesday and Thursday evenings practice with Neil and Stephen have been beneficial. I’ve been going over the Medley today.
