I would like to express my profound sadness in the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. I would like to extend my condolences to the Royal Family and wish the very best to King Charles III as he embarks in his new duties. It was noted by our Past President Kevin Conquest, that the tattoo last evening at Estes Park was the very first international event to play/sing God Save The King in over 70 years. This happened on WUSPBA territory with WUSPBA players in the mix. We had a lovely tribute to Her Majesty before doing so. Very moving. To this end, I feel it most appropriate to ask every piper and drummer who feels so inclined, to play a tune at sunset every evening up to the evening of the funeral on September 19th in memory of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
