Hello Everyone,

Queen Mary is just over a month away.

I hope everyone had a great relaxing break. It's time to kick it into gear.

Piper's I'm hoping that the MSR and the Medley are Memorized completely.
Also hoping you've been breaking in your new chanter reeds and have played
the sets on your pipes many times. Be ready to go on Tuesday we will be on
pipes most of  practice.

Attendance has been a bit light from the pipers, so lets try and be there
every week between now and the games.

I pushed up a change to box in fiddler's joy. To make our lives easier we
will end fiddler's joy normally (going to the d throw) then add 2 pickup
notes before willie Murray. It will be easier and its pretty cool.

Please have your sheep bags seasoned, everything hemped up, and start
working back your playing stamina. We're going to have a smaller pipe corps
for this first contest so its a good opportunity to have some really tight
playing together. The new chanter reeds sound amazing and are very stable
so our tone should be another notch up as well!

Drummers have been working hard having extra practices etc and they're
sounding great, lets meet them with that same level of intensity and
effort.

I'm counting on each and every one of you to make the Queen Mary Games,
please let me know otherwise.

Really looking forward to what this season brings and how much farther we
will grow as a band!

Happy New Year!
