In addition to the standard M/S/R and Medley events, Woodland is offering a pair of local-option (no WUSPBA points; essentially play for comments) events: Drum Salute and Midsection. I don't know anything about the Drum Salute event, but I've heard that the Midsection event is geared toward getting more attention for the bass and tenors. The general feeling at the last two AGMs has been that the midsections would like more comments from judges, so this was a way to address that.

Anyway, do we want to register for either/both of these? Let me know, please.

The Drum Corps does not yet have a Drum Salute to compete with. I will let the Tenors decide for themselves.
