Hello Pipe Majors,
Thank you to all who responded to my previous email regarding the Learning Center tent that WUSPBA is setting up at the games. To remind you, we will be offering visitors information on playing bagpipes and drums, joining a pipe band and finding instruction. We will be giving away a practice chanter and a set of drumsticks and practice pad as "raffle" prizes to those interested in getting more information about piping or drumming. We will be offering some short, rudimentary lessons on practice chanters and stick, with some tenor and bass drums available to try out.
We need your help to man the learning center in short shifts (half hour) to provide information and some basic lessons to anyone interested. Please sign up for one or more shifts on the following spreadsheet. Water and lunch vouchers will be provided to our volunteers! Please encourage your drum sergeants and any more experienced players to sign up. Ideally we need a snare and mid-section instructor for each drum shift. Pipers sign up in the BLUE slots, drummers in the GREEN slots. (After you enter your name, just hit return to make sure it saves.)
Here's the link to the sign up sheet:

If you have not responded to the previous request to update contact information for your band, or if you wish to add instructor names and contact details, the link for that is here:Piping & Drumming Learning Center
