Hello bandmates!  I have good news and sad news (or maybe some will think
it is all good news).  I am relocating to southern CA in just over a
month.  That's the good news!  The sad news is that I will be leaving
SVPB.  I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with the band and will cherish the
friendships I have made.  Once life returns to being in person we will see
each other again at the games; I'll just be in a different band uniform.

I would choose the bad news option. Best of luck in your new venture but you'll be very much missed in our band.
So, you're going to join one of the southern CA bands?! Boo!
