Hi band mates -- miss you all! Miss playing, too. Here's an idea for how and when a few of us might be able to get together and play on St. Patrick's Day, just for fun. My wife and I went out for lunch at Britannia Arms in San Jose (the one on Almaden Expressway) the other day. I saw Michael, the owner, there and talked to him a bit. He remembered me, as we've played there a few times in the past. He said he'd love it if we wanted to come by on St. Pat's Day and play a little bit, so I told him I'd see if I can get a little group of folks together, to do it. I'm sure we could do it safely; like many other restaurants, he put up a big huge tent outdoors in the parking lot in front of the place, with tables distanced apart appropriately. So we could play outside of the tent and space ourselves out as well. St. Pat's (the 17th) is on a Wednesday; we could do this at whatever time is most convenient for those wanting to do it. But ideally it might be fun to do it late afternoon or early evening so we could have some drinks and food there after we play, those who choose to do so.
