Below is a complete list of the competition uniform pieces: - Glengarry** w/ purple pom-pom - Cap badge - White long sleeved button-down shirt* - SVPB necktie - Charcoal vest - SVPB Kilt-Ancient Baird tartan - SVPB leather sporran & chain - Hose-Lomond Blue** - Purple & Grey flashes - Black shoes/ghillie brogues* *Member purchased and owned **Supplied by the band, but member purchased & owned Please let me know before this Sunday (8/22) if you are missing any uniform pieces or need replacements. I will bring any pieces that I have in inventory on Sunday. Some pieces were just ordered and they will be distributed once they arrive. If you need a kilt, we will have to see about borrowing one from a member that isn't competing. Hi Erin, I have an extra kilt, but since I'm still in the hospital, I don't have a way to get it to anyone. When I get out, I will bring the extra back. It's my original kilt, before I lost 50+ pounds. I've since lost more. I hope to see you all soon! All Band members, Hose: We are receiving a shipment from RG Hardie with Hose-Lomond Blue in various sizes. The cost to members is $16.50 / pair USD. I will have them at our 8/29 practice. Please see Erin, our amazing Quartermaster of uniforms. Cash, check (payable to Silicon Valley Pipe Band) or PayPal to Treasurer@siliconvalleypipeband.com (friends and family only). White Shirts: Just to be clear, our band wears long sleeve white shirts *without* button down collars. No kilt belts: Our uniforms are worn *without* a belt. Having trouble keeping your kilt up, please wear suspenders. Kohls carries some. Sporran: Use *only* the band provided sporran and chain. No other chain is allowed. Kilt pins: No kilt pin is allowed on our uniforms. Personal Sgian Dubh may be worn in your hose. Awards: No awards are to be pinned to the band vest. If you win / place in a solo competition and are awarded a medal, we will celebrate with you. I'll even buy the first beer, soda or lemonade and toast with you.
