As the end of the year approaches, I wanted to take a moment to thank each
and every one of you for your dedication and hard work. Your passion for
music and your commitment to our organization is inspiring.

We accomplished a lot this year. We fielded two solid competition bands and
performed at several public performances. This feat is even more impressive
given the long COVID break and the onboarding of so many new members.

SVPB has grown to be one of the largest pipe band organizations on the West
Coast. I believe our musical approach to our sets and high standard of play
are being noticed by the larger pipe band community, which is pretty
exciting.

I am proud to be part of this group and am grateful for the opportunity to
play music alongside such a talented and dedicated group of individuals.
Thank you for your contributions to the organization. It takes a lot to run
such a large band. It is so great to see everyone step up to help make SVPB
such a great group to be part of.

I look forward to the things we will achieve together in 2023.

Hope you are all having a great Holiday Season. I know I haven’t been around much in a while but I like to get back into doing more gigs with the band, learning new tunes and hopefully competition for 2023. I am glad to be a part of the band and hope to see you all again in the new year.

Merry Christmas to all. I have played with several band in my years, I have
never played with a better group. After being told I was to old by a band I
played with for 20 years, SVPB welcomed me with open arms, I will be
eternally great full to the membership. SVPB is a solid organization from
top to bottom. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I hope to see you all
soon!!!!!!
