Hi Band, Here are the details for the Honor Flight Virtual Trip gig: When: Sunday, 10/17/2021 Arrival Time: 11:00 am Gig time: 12:00 pm-2:00 pm Where: Hiller Aviation Museum 601 Skyway Rd. San Carlos, CA 94070 Tunes: Green Hills/Battle Oer, Castle Dangerous, Amazing Grace etc. Band attendance: This is a voluntary gig. Schedule: 12:00pm-12:45pm: Lead the Military Color Guard, Patriot Guard Riders, and other participants during the lunchtime parade. 1:45- 2:00pm, Play while the veterans exit the museum. Notes: For several years a few members of the band have gathered at SFO to meet WWII, Korean and now Vietnam veterans returning home from their annual trip to Washington, DC. However, since COVID there haven’t been any flights. This year there will be a virtual honor flight to honor the vets before any more have been lost.
