With both Adam and Ryan out this Tuesday, I'd like to suggest a focus on
pipe maintenance on Tuesday evening.
Please bring your hemp, wax, etc. to make sure nothing wobbles and
everything is snug (but not too tight!).
If you love your instrument, it will love you on Games day.    ;-)
I'm reaching out to Neil to see if we can overlap a bit the G4 and G3
practice time because I'd like to have a tightest bag contest.  And I'm
bringing a nice prize for the winner!
I also want to reserve time at the end for soloists who would like to play
a tune for a little feedback before Pleasanton.
BTW, it was wonderful to return last Tuesday night after being away since
April.
Both Grade 4 and Grade 3 have made remarkable progress since the Spring.
I also appreciated the focus on the little things:  marching into the
circle, good attack, clean finish, focus during 2nd attack for march-out
tune, etc.
These things make us better and make an impression on the adjudicators.
CONGRATULATIONS to Adam and Saint Thomas Alumni for 4 great runs on Glasgow
Green at the Worlds

If you look at the RSPBA band summaries https://rspba.org/, you'll see
they placed as high as 9th in their first appearance in Grade 1.  Wow.
Best of all was seeing Adam in the front rank and he looked pretty good on
the BBC Scotland livestream https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0csxs8f.
