Message: Hello SVPB, I am engaging in a last minute scramble to see if I can surprise a friend at his retirement celebration with a solo piper to play 1 or 2 songs. I would be paying myself/out of pocket and can budget $150-200; I recognize that is a low sum.
Friend / coworker is retiring from Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District as a park ranger after 30+ years. He is a long time Caledonophile - if that's a real term with Scottish heritage and would really enjoy a piper surprise. His celebration is Saturday May 18, 3-6pm at Sycamore Group Picnic Area, Stevens Creek County Park.
