All,
Some pipers and some drummers met with Adam this evening to talk about the
new music and band practices ongoing.
Take aways:
- Download the Gr4 music from Box
- Focus ONLY on the MSR (Duncan McInnes, Under the Triboro and Sound of
Sleat) - Practices for the initial future will be held Mondays 7 pm - 9 pm in 30
minute 1 on 1 practices with Adam- We want to rotate through the pipers every few weeks
- Text me at 408-839-5025 or email me if you want a practice segment;
indicate which unassigned segment you wish. - Practice with your metronome and bring it to practice
- If you sign up, you are expected to show
- If no one signs up by Monday morning of that week's practice, others
may request an additional segment. - Adam is fine with using zoom or Facetime
- Get your pipes up, maintained and playable, then go have fun getting
your pipes going. Shoot for 30 minutes then add more time on the pipes.
- Check in on Slack every couple of days.
- Monterey Games may be the first games we attend; Their games organizers
are 'pretending' that they will happen this year. Will we go is unknown.
