Study piping with some of the world's best instructors.

Piping instructors: Willie McCallum, Jack Lee, Jimmy Bell

Drumming instructor: Ed Best

June 11 - 16, 2023

Lyon's Scottish Arts Summer School is a five-day-long camp that
immerses participants in the Scottish arts. Participants will learn to
pipe from some of the world's best instructors including Willie
McCallum, Jack Lee, and Jimmy Bell.  Kenton Adler works with Beginner
and Novice pipers on technique, steady blowing, tuning, preparing for
competition, and piping for weddings and funeral.  Willie, Jimmy, and
Jack will focus on more Advanced techniques and tunes in Piobaireachd,
and all forms of Light Music.
Schedule

The summer school will be June 11 through June 16, 2023.  Check in will
be on Sunday the 11th, followed by auditions to establish group
assignments.

Accommodations

You will be housed on-campus. Bring sheets for a twin bed.
Accommodations for residential students include meals in the dining
hall.

Cost

On-campus: $950 - On-campus discounts: $50 for groups of 3 or more, $50
for students under 18.

Day Students ( Students who do not require accommodations ): $650
