Our local elementary school is hosting a Wold Heritage Night on Friday, May 20. The night will feature tables hosted by families from around the world and also some live performances. My family is hosting a table for Scotland at the event. I wanted to reach out and see if you might have a single piper who would be interested in coming by and playing a song on stage for the kids during the performance portion - or possibly even a piper plus a dancer or two? I know the kids would love to check out the pipes after if they might want to stick around a mingle a bit. I would be happy to pay their rate for playing (not asking for a freebie!) but realize it would mean dressing out for a short one song performance. I'm wondering if you have a member who might live here in PA or would enjoy seeing the kids enough that they'd be willing to come by?
