Currently, we have 6 pipers, 1 snare and 1 bass signed up for this event.
Thank you to those who have updated their availability in TeamSnap. This is
extremely helpful and much appreciated.
This parade requires a full band, which consists of AT LEAST 12 pipers, 3
snares and 1 bass. We need members to sign up to participate in this event
ASAP. Please don’t wait. Even if you are not attending please update
TeamSnap.
Also, gig and parade participants tend to be the same individuals. If you
have not participated any parades/gigs or have not signed up for any future
events then maybe this is one you can sign up for.

Here are the details for the Santa Clara Parade of Champions:
When: Saturday, October 9, 2021
Arrival Time: 10:00 am
Parade time: 11:00 am
Where: Downtown Santa Clara (specific location TBA)
Route Length: 1 mile
Tunes: Green Hills/Battle’s Oer, Castle Dangerous, Banks of the Lossie,
Scotland the Brave/Rowan Tree, Dawning of the Day/Minstrel Boy/Wearing the
Green
Band attendance: A minimum of 12 pipers, 4 snares and 1 Bass
Notes: This parade is one of our two community events for the year. It is
important to have a good showing so that we can create awareness of the
band and promote good will in the community.
Just a reminder: A notification from TeamSnap has been sent out, so please
update your availability as soon as possible.
